Hotel Bellavista is located at the beginning of the historic center of Anacapri, the picturesque little town on the slopes of Monte Solaro. Two of the Island of Capri's most important tourist attractions lie within steps of the hotel: Villa San Michele and the chairlift to the summit of Monte Solaro. All the other sights are just a short bus ride away. You can catch buses to Capri, the port of Marina Grande, the Grotta Azzurra and the lighthouse (Faro), from the stop just outside the hotel.
The Island of Capri can be reached from Naples (hydrofoil boarding at Molo Beverello; ferry boarding at Calata di Massa pier), from Sorrento, and from the Amalfi Coast by scheduled maritime transport: ferries, hydrofoils, catamarans and high-speed jets, or more independently by “sea taxi” or helicopter. From early morning until late evening, especially during the summer season, only short intervals separate arrivals at the port of Marina Grande.
Once here, transfer to the hotel is possible by taxi (approximately 12 minutes), by direct public bus (approximately 20 minutes), or by funicular to Capri and then by public bus to Anacapri. The bus stop is located about 30 meters from the hotel.
From April to October, private vehicles are not permitted to disembark on the island unless they belong to residents or have foreign license plates. Garages and guarded parking facilities for the entire day are available at all departure ports.
